This blog is directionless. I will randomly post updates of things that are of interest to me, or I will post simple updates to let you all know what I am doing. I prefer not to spam other social media outlets so my other internet findings are partitioned to this website.

Gaga furious...She's cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television." »

“She’s furious…She’s cringing at the thought of her life being exposed on television.” But if Lady Gaga lives the same life in private as she does in public then what is there for us to learn that we don’t already know? Gaga, why are you afraid of your life being exposed on television when you’ve spent the last 5 years constantly craving attention? I mean, seriously.

You wore a dress made of actual meat in public, arrived to an awards ceremony in an egg, and zip lined into a Good Morning America performance. Are you sure you don’t want your life exposed on television, because it kind of appears that you like attention? I think the true reason you’re furious is that after all your ignorantly blissful little monsters see you for who you really are they will finally realize how you are nothing like the desperate-for-attention and phony entertainer you act like in front of the camera. You aren’t actually creative, you are just a whiny little girl who will stop at nothing to get the attention of the camera.

I will admit you are a talented singer-songwriter and can entertain. I just wish you would focus on these talents and stop overshadowing them by acting like a delusional zombie-alien. There are a lot of people out there, including myself, that would like to like you. So stop making it so damn hard by acting like a complete idiot. Let your talent speak for itself and stop being so afraid to be yourself, please.

Two long lost brothers. One holds a racquet, and the other holds a rose. One tool symbolizes love, the other…not quite sure. Either way, Hollywood, are you listening?

If this house is real then I will ask why they have all their lights on when it clearly looks like a beautiful sunny day.

I have been trying to find the time to put together a good travel video that reflects the good time we had in Hilton Head this summer. Sadly, I haven’t been able to find the time to put something of great quality together. On the other hand, I was able to throw these short clips together.

My editing process essentially involves me picking a song that has a good feel and vibe to it and going from there. I loved how the first 15 or so seconds of this song felt, so I went with it and didn’t stop. As the music and lyrics pick up, it progressively makes less and less sense for this song to be synced with these videos. I kind of gave up on this video about 45 seconds in so please don’t judge my abilities too harshly. I just need some more time to make it what I want. So now that I’ve adequately explained why this video completely sucks I hope you take 3 minutes to watch it.

BARCELONA!

It feels like a dream. Yesterday I was in Barcelona and today I am in Nebraska drinking diet Coke at my local coffee shop studying for Evidence class.

The time spent in Barcelona and the things Ida and I experienced cannot fully be captured by picture or video, but we’ll do our best. Scalping tickets to an FC Barcelona game, juggling competitions with new friends, weaving in and out of Barcelona traffic on scooters, and sipping on Sangria…Man, Barcelona was a great host!

Here is a preview of what we were able to capture during our short adventure. Full versions of Ida’s video and mine will be on www.worldtravelerinternship.com sometime in the following weeks.

More to come from the trip soon!

FlightTrack

For those of you lucky enough to have a smart phone, or a phone that can download apps, you’re able to download the wonderful thing that is “FlightTrack.”

For those interested, FlightTrack is an application that does exactly what it’s title suggests - tracks flights. Once you have your flight itenerary or your boarding pass, you simply enter the airline and flight number into the application and it will pull up the time of departure and gate that your flight is located.

Not only that, FlightTrack gives you up to the minute updates on delays and cancellations. So when your fellow travelers are scrambling off the jet to get a front row view of the massive “television departure hub area thing” to see if their flights have changed, you can simply pull out your smartphone, check FlightTrack, and know exactly when your flight is departing and what gate it is at, even if there was a change while you were in the air. However, you will need access to either the internet or wifi in order to access the information so it’s not as handy when you’re traveling internationally. But continentally this application is a lifesaver. Be sure download it for your next trip! Did I mention it’s free?

I’m sorry, but Rebecca Black doesn’t have anything on Robbie Love.

Don’t let the screen cap of the girls scare you. I promise its completely PG, and hilarious.
